Pub Format: We love our chilled atmopsphere at the Gold Coast Tavern. Join us from 6:30pm for dinner or a drink and meet a bunch of social people. We dance from 8pm, always starting with an intro to this great dance style - West Coast Swing.

No partner required to learn this smooth style of partner dance known for allowing both partners to improvise steps while dancing together and incorporates technique and musical interpretation. Danced to everything from Blues, R&B, Hip Hop and the latest top 40 and enjoyed by dancers all over the world. Join our growing Gold Coast Westie community and fall in love with this amazing dance style.

Format for the night:

8:00 - 8:30 pm - Fundamentals intro class (Novice)

8:30 - 9:00 pm - Social dancing

9:00 - 9:30pm - Technical development class (Nov/Int)

9:30 - 10:00pm - Social dancing (sometimes we’ll dance till 10:30pm)

Cost: $10 per person for casual attendance
